VNG (Video Nystagmography)
More appropriately called video oculography allows us to objectively detect, document, measure and classify nystagmus, skew deviations and abnormalities of gaze, caloric testing, visual saccades and pursuit movements. The combination of specialized infrared cameras and tracking software allows us to pick up abnormalities of vestibular function that would not have been apparent to the eyes of even the most skilled observer.
SVV (Subjective Visual Vertical)
It is a measure of utricular tone and carried out in our setup with the help of a specially designed headset.
VEMP (Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials)
They are recorded over neck muscles and are a measure of functioning of the inferior vestibular nerve and the descending vestibulospinal pathways.
CDP and CCP (Computerised Dynamic Posturography and Craniocorpography)
These tests study the functioning of visual, vestibular and proprioceptive components in maintenance of balance and help us identify and manage several factors that might be contributing to loss of balance in a particular patient
